“I love my work. I draw what I can remember. When choosing a future profession, I didn’t think much. I wanted to do the kind of work that I love and makes me happy. I lived in front of the Tsoidze School of Fine Arts, and I always saw students holding drawings in their hands. Quietly, I would look into the building’s foyer, admiring the painted walls in awe. I wanted to become part of this world. Every impression carried over onto paper. That was the night of April 9 too… I was small then and couldn’t fully understand the severity of the tragedy, but still I drew a blood-red rain falling over our flag. I also write poems, sketches, and fairy tales. I knit, embroider, and sew. I work in enameling, and in batik. I take part in group exhibitions in Georgia and abroad. My first fairy tale, “Zhirafuka,” was published with my own illustrations. Soon there will be a presentation of the second fairy tale as well. Since 2014, I have been running my own “Ket Art Studio,” and I work with children. I am the mother of three children.”
