Portrait
“Since childhood I remember how I held colored pencils in my hand and drew. I drew at school too… Even after graduating from school… In short, for me drawing has always been and still is a way to express myself, to transfer inner chaos onto paper. Inside, I feel the movement of lines and shapes, and I get a desire to bring it all onto paper. I love details; small, details that go unnoticed by others… And I believe that happiness in life lies precisely in small details. Drawing a perfect straight line—that feeling is the greatest pleasure. Even now, when in spring the sleeping trees bloom, and at 6 a.m. the birds begin to sing! Cold air and the first rays of the sun… My self-portrait is like this too: lines and shapes tangled in emotions, noticeable and yet also imperceptible small details immersed in everyday life.”
