“While thinking about my future work, I realized that no profession attracted me as much as illustration. And despite not having any drawing experience, I still decided to choose that profession for which I would not regret my effort. I don’t regret it! With the help of the university and dedicated lecturers, in just a year and a half, I gained quite a lot of knowledge. I became acquainted with etching press work, which I loved very much. The entire process—from making sketches to printing, studying new materials, and testing them—became immensely enjoyable and very interesting for me. I still have a long and challenging path ahead in order to become a professional, but I believe that taking part in this competition is another, properly taken step toward achieving my goal.”
