Portrait

„I think that a person becomes completely empty without creativity. I can’t say that from childhood I was creating amazing drawings, or that I had a great interest in drawing. In a two-year art school, I studied, but I only truly felt the real purpose of creativity when I experienced the strongest feeling for the first time—the feeling of complete emptiness and loneliness. It was precisely this understanding that pushed me to think about existence in general and to start searching for that means which would help me recognize my “self.” This process was made easier by painting. I work in oil and acrylic, I use pencil, chalk, charcoal, gouache, watercolor—everything that happens to be at hand in that moment. I like sculpture and installation.
Every plan for my future is associated with painting, or infused by it.
