“The creative process is like pregnancy. Sometimes I have to go through the stage of pregnancy for a long time, and other times, on the contrary, for very little time. During the painting process, I change the initial sketch many times, and in the end the final artwork turns out even more interesting. Creativity is a living process, and I draw inspiration from everything around me. When I paint, I am completely detached from the real world, as if time stops. I had such a case—I’ve been painting continuously for 9 hours, and I thought that only about one hour had passed. I work with different materials.”
