Nino Peradze

Portrait

I have been painting for as long as I can remember, and what began as a favorite childhood pastime has now become a way of life. I cannot even imagine my daily existence without it. The themes and subjects reflected in my work stem from my personal experiences and the processing of what I have read, seen, and felt.

I consider myself an artist of emotion. The colors, lines, and palette of a painting depend entirely on the mood that a particular subject evokes in me. My goal is to convey positive emotions because I believe that modern life is difficult and heavy everywhere; I have no desire to add to that burden for the viewer or myself—quite the opposite! I believe art should brighten and lighten people’s lives, offering them a sense of positivity. I truly love my work and feel happy that I made the right choice in my profession and dedicated myself to this craft.
