I believe that color has the most powerful influence on a person’s soul and mind, just like music. That is why I like Impressionism, though I wouldn’t call my work purely Impressionist. Both form and content are valuable. I work in oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor. Watercolor is my special love. Precisely in this medium it becomes clear how virtuoso the artist is; how difficult it is—either with one brushstroke to ruin a work, or to come close to perfection!
