“You probably think that dentistry and painting are very far from each other. In my opinion, this is not the case – all works of art are art if you do it with love. I started painting about five years ago. Then I read Tracy Chevalier’s novel “The Girl with the Pearl Earring.” Then, for the first time, I realized that the main thing in art is love. I liked ‘Dutch Mona Lisa’ so much that I made a copy of it. This was the first and last time I “stole” a painting.

Then, I searched for artists and their works on the internet and in books. My favorite artist is Hyeronymus Bosch. I dream to once see his ‘Garden of Earthly Pleasures’ with my own eyes. Unfortunately, at that time women were not allowed to paint and many of them, as authors, were lost in history. For me, one of the most wonderful and precious artists is Frida Kahlo – a symbol of strength, courage, feminism, pain, struggle and love. By the way, before she started painting, she had a dream to become a doctor. I love and am inspired by Montserrat Gudiol. She is known for her delicate, colorful, as if simple portraits with an ambiguous background. It is impossible to see and forget their creations.

I think art is the best way to escape from your daily routine.

In my opinion, anyone can be a creator. The most important thing is to find a way to express yourself.”
