“I was born and raised in Tbilisi. The main direction of my life has become work on the restoration and digitization of Georgian ornaments. I have restored about 300 carvings, embroideries, church ornaments carved on stone, and ornaments of rugs and carpet figures. The project is the first attempt to process old Georgian ornaments in a different technological sequence on a computer, in order to improve their expressiveness. Also, to preserve and popularize them. My brain never stops – after the emergence of an idea, I cannot rest until I think of ways to implement it. This process of creation and work itself is my pleasure.”
